compact cart. But don’t let their
small size fool you. Stat Profile pHOx analyzers

A
new, liquid only calibration system eliminates
bulky gas tanks, gas regulators, gas tubing
lines, and humidifiers. A single reagent
pack contains all calibrators. This integrated
gas and reagent package system replaces
up to five individual reagent bottles and
two gas tanks with a simple, snap-in reagent
package. The single reagent pack also eliminates
the need to maintain logs and run both calibration
and QC procedures each time one of the bottles
or tanks needs to be replaced.

Nova's
auto-cartridge QC is a totally automated
quality control system contained within
a single on-board control cartridge. This
unique system combines multiple levels of
controls and dedicated software allowing
any level of quality control to be run at
any time — either on a pre-programmed
schedule or on demand. This system dramatically
lowers costs by reducing the time and labor
required to manually perform quality control.

remote control function allows complete
control of remote analyzers from Nova’s
Point-of-Care Manager (PDM) workstation.
The analyzer status can be reviewed and,
if needed, analyzer calibration, maintenance
and on-board QC testing can be initiated
remotely. It also allows for any test to
be enabled or disabled, or operator passwords
to be enabled or disabled.

Complete
process automation begins with the placement
of Stat Profile pHOx analyzers at any point-of-care
location. An unlimited number of analyzers
can be interfaced with the Nova Point-of-Care
Manager (PDM) located in the central laboratory
which is in turn interfaced with the LIS.

on the optional pHOx Cart with an uninterruptible
power supply (UPS).
The
Stat Profile pHOx sampler is designed for
fast, easy use and operator safety using
syringe or capillary samples. For samples
in syringes, the sampling probe automatically
positions itself at the optimal angle. For
capillary samples, the sampler automatically
presents a universal capillary sampling
port in a horizontal position to prevent
spillage or dripping.
