The
Point-of-Care Manager can link up to nine
Nova point-of-care analyzers into a common
database and can be used to supervise operation
of any Nova analyzer in the network. POC
analyzers from other manufacturers can also
be connected. All PDM data can be automatically
sent to the hospital or departmental information
system for charting and billing purposes.

The
remote control function allows complete
control of remote analyzers from a Point-of-Care Manager workstation. The analyzer
status can be reviewed and, if needed, analyzer
calibration, maintenance and on-board QC
testing can be initiated remotely. It also
allows any test to be enabled or disabled
or operator passwords to be enabled or disabled.

exclusive Remote Laboratory Supervision
software enables the central laboratory
staff to verify and manage data analysis,
data integrity, quality control, and data
reporting at remote testing laboratory locations.
Data security is assured by a password protection
