GRAPHIC DESIGNER
The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing complex conceptualizations of ideas to create original art used in the development of electronic and print projects as well as Industrial Design and 3-D mock ups. Key responsibilities include: develop leading-edge designs, create layouts and interactive presentations using a variety of software tools; develop architecture, artwork and basic programming for creation of new media presentations; develop best practices utilizing state-of-the-art techniques, and equipment. Requires a bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience along with 5 to 8 years of related design experience including customer interaction. Industrial design skills a plus, using Solidworks 4.0 2008. Must have full capabilities using Adobe Creative Suite and MicroSoft Office.


VICE PRESIDENT INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT FOR
CONSUMER DIABETES PRODUCTS
This new position manages the distribution of Nova Consumer Diabetes Products. Key responsibilities include: establish Distributors for the new Nova Max SMBG business in Asia, South America, Russia and Eastern Europe; identify those international markets/regions which offer the greatest opportunity for growth; identify companies/distributors capable of rapid and long term market penetration; and negotiate incentive based agreements appropriate for the market. The successful candidate will have a degree in Marketing, Business Development or Life Sciences along with 10+ years experience in international consumer medical business (International SMBG experience a plus); a proven track record in both business growth and advancement; ability to travel outside the USA 50+% of the time on extended trips; direct “hands-on” approach; communication skills including Writing, Presentation and Interpersonal skills; strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Point, Excel and Word. Foreign language skills a plus. This position is located in Massachusetts.

MARKETING MANAGER
The Marketing Manager is responsible for the conception and development of marketing sales strategies to increase POC glucose products in primary care physician offices and pharmacies. This position supports the direct sales force as well as National Account Managers including retail, wholesale, DME, and managed care groups. Key responsibilities include: develop marketing strategies to support company business plans and initiatives; develop and create promotional materials, sales brochures, and sales literature; coordinate sales force CDE programs, diabetes events, and trade shows. 3+ years experience as a Product or Marketing Manager required along with a BA/BS in Business/Marketing, MBA preferred. 10 years of Marketing/Sales in Healthcare industry and working knowledge of diabetes management preferred.

REAGENT PACKAGER
Under general supervision follow established procedures in packaging reagent kits. This individual is responsible for working on an assembly line to assemble the various kits within the established quality and time standards. The individual will work with various packaging equipment such as: automated/manual tape machines manual pallet trucks, conveyors, flow racks and other packaging devices as required. 1 to 3 years’ experience and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work alternately in a seated or standing position is required. High school diploma or equivalent.

This position is responsible for working on an assembly line to assemble the various kits within the established quality and time standards. Must be able to work individually on specific tasks as needed as well as recording pertinent information as required in the batch record. Work with various packaging equipment such as automated/manual tape machines, manual pallet trucks, conveyor, flow racks and other packaging devices as required. Must be versatile and move to work on any section of the line as required, lift up to 50 lbs and work alternately in a seated or standing position. Programming RMS chips for product, in-process inspection of product, setup of packaging lines, reconciling labels and components, printing labels from central system, and completing documentation at conclusion or process. Lead a packaging line.

TRAFFIC COORDINATOR

This position tracks and helps produce projects within the Creative Services Department. You’ll help control and distribute pdf proofs for final approvals, maintain records, and communicate changes to the Creative staff. Other responsibilities are to procure quotes and build vendor relations, collaborate with other departments to meet deadlines, monitor and track open jobs, and communicate project status between teams. Requires 4+ years relevant experience as an office coordinator or experience in graphics print production. Requires excellent proofreading skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work with MS Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite software.


SALES TRAINING MANAGER

The successful candidate will have excellent presentation and organization skills plus sales experience and training experience with medical or scientific products. The candidate must have the ability to effectively present various training modules, develop and document core competencies of new hires. The candidate will also lead the creation of new training materials and modules for existing products and new products as they are released. Part of the job duties will be to develop and conduct training for new sales reps, both domestic and international. Training responsibilities include product feature/benefit training, product operation training, clinical applications, basic selling skills, presentation skills, policies and procedures. Training will be conducted through the use of written or audio-visual materials. Includes some travel. The candidate should be familiar with PowerPoint or other software tools. The trainer will also be responsible for logistics, coordinating schedules and providing study materials for new sales representatives. A Bachelor of Science degree plus 2 years in Sales or Marketing of Medical or Scientific products is required.

INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR: GLUCOSE TRAINING SPECIALIST

Nova Biomedical is looking for independent contractors interested in performing clinical training services at hospitals throughout North America in support of our expanding StatStrip bedside glucose hospital product line. In this contracted position, successful candidates will be offered opportunities to travel to customer sites and train end users on the StatStrip system as part of a team of onsite trainers. Qualified candidates will become factory certified trainers on the StatStrip system. Upon certification, contracted training specialists will be responsible for training hospital end users on the proper use of the StatStrip system. Additional responsibility includes documenting end user training and certifying that the end user has demonstrated core competencies associated with the use of the StatStrip system. GENERAL MANAGER – Nova Biomedical GmbH
The General Manager will lead and be responsible for the entire German subsidiary of Nova Biomedical. He/she will manage subsidiary business plans and strategies to ensure profitability of the German subsidiary. This will include strong sales management direction to the field sales force; oversight of the Field Service organization and assuming that IVDD and other German specific product related regulations are adhered to. This position requires 10+ years experience in leading a German IVDD sales and marketing organization, experience in POC Testing and/or blood glucose monitoring business and a strong focus on sales management. A masters degree in business or marketing and, ideally, a primary degree in chemistry, biology or life sciences. Excellent communication and presentation skills as well as fluent in English language are also required.
